FACTS ABOUT VISUAL

Mining at Rincon Materials will always take place behind natural visual barriers, or berms. Using a conveyor belt instead of rock trucks will reduce the notable visible impact of mining onsite. Prompt reclamation of mined out areas will enhance the vegetation quality onsite, bringing irrigation to bear on previously parched lands.

At the end of the mine life, in only 10 years, Rincon Materials will leave behind irrigated fields, ponds, and trees.

The hills in the two images immediately below, will not be disburbed. Mining will take place on the other side of these hills. The extraction site is 1/8th of a mile from the river basin and 110 feet above the river. Mining will not be visible from the river and these hills will remain in tact.
